Korin Black Project: Runway & Confidence Workshop April 23-24, 2011
Korin Black brings the catwalk and confidence to center stage

CHICAGO, IL – March 22, 2011 – Model and entrepreneur Korin Black will be presenting the Korin Black Project: Runway & Confidence Workshop [http://korinblackproject.com] on April 23-24, 2011 at Big City Swing located at 1012 W. Randolph, Chicago IL, 60607.

The Korin Black Project: Runway & Confidence Workshop is a cost effective, 2-day workshop, with a professional curriculum created and developed by Korin Black that offer beginner and advance levels to aspiring models. The workshop is designed specifically to teach young girls and women, ages 15 and up, the essential skills required to embark on a successful career in the professional world of modeling; students are educated in the areas of demeanor, etiquette, self–confidence and professionalism.

“The modeling industry can be rewarding, but should be researched carefully before making an investment of thousands of dollars to an agency or modeling school based on idle promises” warned Black.

Formerly signed to Elite Model Management Chicago [now Factor Women], Korin, who is now independently managed, is uniquely positioned to provide insider information and qualified advice to young women navigating their way through the sometime unforgiving world of the modeling industry. The Korin Black Project workshop will also ensure students are aware of the dangers of unlicensed and predatory agencies, and the vast number of unregulated and disingenuous modeling schools that charge aspiring models thousands of dollars each year, with no results.

It has always been Korin’s desire to inspire others, especially young women from all backgrounds and races, to follow their dreams. “It’s imperative to believe in one’s self,” stated Black. “In the fashion industry confidence is not just one thing, it is everything!”
